Ts. Lim Chee Meng is a principal specialist and trainer on his own niche consultancy practice in various fields. His consulting and training experience has been directed at strategic quality tools & techniques, operations improvement & management, energy optimization management, plant optimization through cycle time reduction, line balancing, continuous process improvement, and effective maintenance management system in multiple industries. These include palm oil, metal, plastic, ceramic, electronics, rubber, heavy clay industries.
He has acquired vast practical experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) project in different industries, managing civil, structure, mechanical and electrical turnkey projects, machineries and equipment, installation, testing and commissioning.
Experience
He was promoted as Factory Manager in year 2002 at the age of 25 years old as he has contributed to one of the multinational company and turnaround the Malaysia factory became benchmark for others factories in Asia-Pacific. Later, with his knowledge and experience, he managed to turnaround a 12 years old money losing local operation plant. Thereupon, he was headhunted by Europe Company as Plant Manager to turnaround Malaysia’s operation plant. With the operation team transformation approach via training and coaching, the plant was ranked as most efficient & safest plant among 19 operation plants in Asia within 1 year and awarded the Asia’s Best Technical Papers Writer within the group of companies.
From the turnaround experience, he affirmed that working alone is impossible. 4Es (Educating, Encouraging, Engaging, Empowering) approaches were applied to create success stories and excellent result with a team of discovered talent. All four stages passed through official and unofficial training process which conducted personally by Ts. Lim.

Ts. Lim is a Professional Technologist certified by Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) & graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering. He holds a Master in Business Administration. He is a Graduated Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Institute Engineers of Malaysia (IEM). He is also HRD Corp accredited Trainer & Malaysia Energy Commission Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM).
